Active International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and/or Certified Information Privacy Technologists (CIPT) certification.

Proven team leader, providing hands-on guidance and best practices.

10+ years of overall work experience in the areas of IT, cybersecurity, and/or privacy.

5+ years of work experience specifically in privacy.

Assist in planning and execution of privacy breach tabletop exercises and identify and implement improvements.

Provide support as it relates to prevention, mitigation, tracking, and handling of privacy breaches.

Prepare documents such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), System of Records Notices (SORNs), Privacy related policies and directives, Privacy Act Statements, Privacy Notices, or privacy-related documents.

Assess privacy risk and provide recommendation(s) related to the disclosure of data, structured and unstructured data sets, disclosure techniques.

Develop and maintain a Privacy Program dashboard and tracker to document, monitor, manage, and provide metrics on ongoing projects, initiatives, and tasks.

Support implementation of new federal privacy standards or requirements.

Support internal or external privacy audit processes.

Create and maintain privacy policies, directives, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation relevant to the operations of the Privacy Program.Perform privacy analysis on new or proposed rulemakings, information technology systems and applications, and critical business operations to identify privacy risks and propose mitigation strategies.Your Impact to the Mission:As a Senior Privacy Lead you will be responsible for supporting an agency's privacy program including executing on the data privacy strategy daily operations of the program monitoring program effectiveness assessing privacy risk and providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with federal rules and regulations.
